Hi, I am Emily, a registered psychologist following a flexible and client guided approach to therapy.
I value creating open and safe environments for clients to explore the issues they are facing, and aim to strengthen their insight and awareness to go into deeper work. I prioritise checking in and ensuring the therapeutic relationship is aligned as we navigate challenging spaces together.
In my practise I utilise evidence-based approaches, drawing from Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT).
